Why Partners Matter
No single club, however committed, can end plastic pollution alone. The scale of the problem — production, consumption, disposal, and the slow poisoning of our air, soil, and water — demands more hands, more voices, and more resources than any one organization can bring to the table.
That’s why partnerships sit at the heart of everything we do. Municipalities give us the reach to act locally, in schools and communities where change begins. Scientists and researchers ground our work in evidence, helping us understand the true scope of the crisis and measure what actually works. Corporate partners bring the resources and influence to shift how plastic is produced and used at scale — because real change in this fight has to happen upstream, not just at the clean-up. And sister Rotary and Rotaract clubs, in Portugal and around the world, remind us that we are part of something far larger than any single region or campaign.
Each partner brings something we don’t have on our own. Together, they turn a single club’s ambition into a genuine movement — one capable of reaching the children who will inherit this problem, and of building the lasting change none of us could create alone.
If your organization shares our commitment to a plastic-free future, we’d be glad to talk about how we might work together. Reach out — we’re always looking for partners ready to help carry this mission forward.
