Portuguese by origin or Portuguese by adoption, in a nutshell, expatriates who have chosen to call this country “home”, there are many of us who seek opportunities and want to join forces to make this world we live in better. Rotary International is one of the most active global organizations in this field, with more than 1.2 million members united around the same ideals ❤ . We have decided to create a new club in the Centro Oeste region. This club, like other Rotary clubs, has the mission of helping, serving, and acting to carry out projects at the local, regional, national, or international level, relying on the power of Rotary International, its resources and its organization. Well-identified projects are already under discussion.

Our ambition is to bring together a community that allows everyone who wishes to participate, to propose, defend and carry out the projects that matter to them. This club has the additional vocation; to bring together all the goodwill beyond the nationality of its members without, as is often the case, the language barrier being a difficult obstacle for people who speak little or poorly the language of the country and without a single other language being imposed in its place.
We want this group to be a place where everyone can communicate with the other members of the group in the language, they deem most appropriate.

Everyone can count on the camaraderie and goodwill of others, which will make communication easier or more comfortable. This will also avoid the formation and isolation of language groups. Portuguese, English, French, German, and Spanish, there should always be someone to translate and help.

The multicultural and international dimension of the new club is a major asset in recruiting members with a wide array of experience that they will use to contribute to the projects in which we are involved.
